The temperature in May is maximum 27 °C (81 °F) and minimum 14 °C (57 °F) and October maximum is 10 °C (50 °F) and 0 °C (32 °F). Hunza's tourist season is from May to October.
The majestic Karakoram highway crosses Hunza, connecting Pakistan to China via the world’s highest pass Khuunerab.
Flights subjected to weather and bus services operates between Rawalpindi and Gilgit. Regular bus and van services operate between Gilgit and different parts of Hunza.
Northern Areas Trasport Corporation (NATCO) and Silk Route Trasport Company operates direct services between Rawalpindi and Aliabad, Hunza.
Furthermore, NATCO also operates bus service between Gilgit and Kasgghar.
